Finding Hidden Strength through Aikido | Carolin Funck + Werner Steinhaus

Carolin Funck and Werner Steinhaus have been practicing the martial art Aikido for most of their lives in both Germany and Japan. They co-founded the Hiroshima International Aikido Dojo in 2002 and have no plans to stop even after retirement from their university jobs.

We talk about some of the techniques used in Aikido and their teaching style, the attitudes needed to become good at Aikido involve mentally accepting the philosophy and not thinking about rank.
