Robert Yellin is the founder of the Yakimono Art gallery in Kyoto which features contemporary and classic artists from across Japan including many living treasures. Watch the video of our talk here on YouTube.

It is always an edcuation to drop in and see the museum of great work at the Yakimono gallery in Kyoto and in this 20-minute chat, Robert introduces so many artists that he knows deeply such as Mori Togaku, Maruta Munehiko, even drops in the musical artist Monday Michiru, porcelain master Izumi Imaimon, modern potty with brush strokes of Setsu Junji, Suzuki Goro tea bowl, Kaneshige Toyo, Kaneta Masanao, the book Listening to Clay, gallery Muse Tomo and Saito-An in Hagi, Atsuko Koyonagi and Joan Mirviss in NYC.
