Passion for Japanese Pottery & Ceramics - talking with Japan Yakimono Expert Robert Yellin #OnLocation
At Robert Yellin's beautiful gallery in Kyoto, here is the first on-location livestreamed interview with "good people doing great things" across Japan as a new sub-series of the Seek Sustainable Japan talkshow series. The audio is a bit echoey (sorry podcast listeners) but I am working on improving the audio for future on-location talks like this - advice appreciated!
Watch the video here to see all the stunning pottery and books we are talking about.
Excited to do the first LIVE on-location Seek Sustainable Japan talk with the amazing Robert Yellin as at his lovely pottery and ceramics gallery in Kyoto.
Robert Yellin has visited potters and workshops across Japan, has written countless articles about Japanese pottery and ceramics and has great stories and insights about all of the artwork and the artists who made them in every collection.
It is not just a job, he lives and breathes a deep love of this Japanese art-form in both its traditional and modern sense.
At this visit we will have a chance to see his latest collection of beautiful work on display and hear the stories of the art and the artists at his beautiful pottery and ceramics gallery in Kyoto.
