As a Fukushima resident, it is interesting to hear Amy's point of view as someone who has long-lived in Fukushima and continues to live in the area. Her perspective about life and community in the area as well as her response to many of the articles and books written about Fukushima gives that insider perspective that is often lacking in reports about Fukushima in Japan and abroad.
