Axel Deroubaix is the co-founder of Cocolo Travel and transitioned to PekoPekoBox and creating videos and other online media during the tourism pause of coronavirus since 2020. I talked with Axel in the autumn of 2020 and now in the spring of 2021 things are looking less hopeful as the shut-downs and economic hardships of Covid19 continue longer than expected.

Axel's business is doing what it can to support local artisans by sending their handicrafts in beautiful gift boxes to people overseas. Reviewers say it is the next best thing to traveling to Japan in person. https://pekopekobox.com/​
