Jon Letman is an independent journalist writing about social justice issues that need more attention. Jon is based on the island on Kauai (Hawaii, USA) who writes on politics, nature, and indigenous issues in the Asia and Pacific region for international newspapers and magazines such as The Guardian, Al Jareeza, National Geographic, the Diplomat, InkStick Media, and Truthout. In this episode, we talk about Hiroshima Hibakusha and the Hiroshima legacy and narrative as it was changed by John Hershey's book HIROSHIMA. Lack of empathy for local people living under the nuclear bomb cloud or testing cloud sites around the world.
