Rural Revitalization Potential with Fitness | Otoyo Strength | Violet Pacileo

Violet Pacileo has worked in the UK, the US and Tokyo and has now come to her mother's hometown of Otoyo in Kochi prefecture (on Shikoku Island). Violet and her husband hope to start a new business to coincide with Kochi prefecture's targets for Sports Tourism. Violet and her husband are introducing CrossFit to the area to create new destination appeal for visitors and potential new residents. Watch the talk here.

Like many other guests in Seeking-Sustainability-Live like Byron + Kaori Nagy leaving Tokyo careers for rural hospitality and farming, Violet talks about the many frustrations of trying to create change in the rural countryside areas of Japan, but there are so many reasons to feel hope for change.
