Seeds of Hope from Hiroshima - the Green Legacy Project
Green Legacy Hiroshima is a unique seed-planting project to share hope to devastated communities worldwide. After Hiroshima was attacked on August 6, 1945, with an Atomic Bomb, many people thought nothing would ever grow here again- but when some of the trees started to show new growth, the local people felt hope for the future.
GLH Green Legacy Hiroshima is a project run by Hiroshima residents passionate about spreading peace around the world in the form of living trees - future generations of Hiroshima A-bombed surviving trees to war-torn nations to help communities rebuild and feel hope for the future.
Green Legacy is a collaborative project between UNITAR and ANT Hiroshima.
